On Friday night, February 1, Capital High School students covered the dance floor at this year’s Winter Formal Dance. The dance was held at the beautiful ballroom of the Northern Hotel In Downtown Helena. . In spite of our Montana snow, ice, and cold temperatures outside, the dance started at 8:00 p.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m.
The annual formal dance included a variety of music, ranging from rap to country. In my opinion it could have been better; the DJ should take song requests from the students and have songs voted into the playlist.
A big thank you to all who participated in and planned the Winter Formal dance. It was a great experience, full of amazing flashing lights.
Students danced with their dates and visited having a great time. The next formal dance for Capital High School will be Prom coming up in the spring so be sure to check your school calendars. Don’t miss it!!
