Capital Considers

By Meagan Broussard

When do you really become an adult?

As the end of 3rd Quarter approaches, students and staff around the school were asked to explain their thoughts on the above topic

Christian Swingley, a senior, quickly states “I think it’s as soon as you leave for college.”

Kaelyn Perrigo, a junior, explains her thought process, saying ”Well it depends on individual experience, but probably when you go to college and have to pay for your own stuff. Basically when you become responsible for yourself.”

Jenalyn Slead, a freshman, offers her opinion, saying “Honestly I think there’s a turning point after you graduate. When you don’t have to depend on your parents anymore.”
